#EnciFilm Blog – Take One

Enci is shooting a film and already it’s changing my life.

Ya see, this sustainability commitment means that I can’t leave the house without preparing as if for a camping trip. It used to be that I only had to grab my keys, some business cards and my cell phone but now…Phew! Continue reading »

We have a Twitter Page

http://twitter.com/RebelWithoutCar

I’m tired, so I don’t have a whole lot to write right now. I will have by the end of the week hopefully a complete count of our footprint so far.

We are doing excellent but I know it’s going to be more and more challenging with time. Having a DP interested in shooting our short film, especially a DP who matters and who I don’t want to loose, is going to add some challenges, especially when hauling gear.

Green Screen – A Sustainable Production

I’m going to direct my first short film in June. This is a project that has been with me for the past 9 months and finally I’m going to make it a reality.

The setting is Eastern Europe in 1978 and the subject is child abandonment.

My husband is 100% behind me on this project and when I asked him if he would produce it (he produced many music videos and commercials back in the day), he got very excited.

We went on a long brainstorming walk and we ended up challenging ourselves to shooting a sustainable film and we started listing all the benefits that the community and the cast and crew would get from sustainable filming. Continue reading »
